About this site
Bible Architecture
A free, non-commercial tool for seeing how the Old and New Testaments connect β Scripture displayed verse by verse, with cross-references, book introductions, maps, and timelines. No ads, no payments, no data collection. It exists to make the Bible's internal conversation easier to see.
Scripture Text
Scripture quotations are from the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), which its publishers have dedicated to the public domain. The BSB may be freely used, quoted, and reproduced without permission or royalty. It is produced in cooperation with Bible Hub, Discovery Bible, OpenBible.com, and the Berean Bible Translation Committee.
Cross-References
The Old Testament β New Testament connection pairs are derived from the cross-reference dataset published by OpenBible.info, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Pair selection β and any errors in it β are this site's, not OpenBible's.
Original Content
The book introductions and prefaces, structure summaries, maps (places, events, and journey routes), and timelines were written and built for this site. They summarize mainstream biblical scholarship β both traditional and critical positions, labeled as such β and any errors are the site author's own. Contested questions are presented with the major views rather than a single verdict.
How It Was Built
Built as a personal study project: a single-page web application (no framework, no backend) hosted on Cloudflare Pages, with maps rendered by Leaflet and OpenStreetMap / Esri tile imagery. Research, data preparation, and development were done with the assistance of Claude (Anthropic).
